Those Turbulent Times

Optometry in the Philippines is not without problems the more major of which are those related to the standard of practice and patient care, the upgrading of optometric education and training, violations of ethics code, lay corporate encroachment on the profession, rampant commercialization, resolving the gray area in the relationship with ophthalmology, etc.
